Eat Now Brighton v4.0 is here!

A lot has happened since we launched v3.0 of Eat Now Brighton, back in August 2008. In that time we've delivered thousands of meals to the residents of Brighton and Hove, and learned a lot about our business along the way. It's fair to say we've given the ENB website a good road-testing and kept a careful track of any problems or difficult situations that have arisen in the process. Thanks for your patience.

This latest version of our site comes brimming with new and special features. These are designed to help you the customer - to make your ordering experience more enjoyable and to bring you better value for money. We've taken on board comments about many areas of the site that you felt needed improving:

• Special offers have arrived! Due to the complicated nature of implementing special offers online, Eat Now Brighton was sparse when it came to money saving deals. With our main focus now on providing value for money ENB is proud to announce the start of a new era of online food ordering. Visit the 'Special Offers' section of each restaurant to see what wonderful money saving offers are available. Particularly we'd like to draw your attention to pizza deals which now offer value for money when compared to any other method of ordering pizza that we know about.
• We now accept Paypal. Many of our customers were reporting difficulties when using their credit cards on our site. This was due to the inefficiency of our online payment provider, whose security features meant that some customers couldn't complete the ordering process. We have now changed to everyone's favourite, Paypal, renowned for their ease of use and multi-payment method support.
• Save favourite orders. This was a feature that we've been intending to implement for some time. It's quite simple, if you've got an order queued up and ready to pay for, and you decide you may want to re-order it in future simply click the 'Add Order To Favourites' button. This will then save your current order to your Eat Now Brighton profile. Next time you login simply visit the 'Saved Orders' section of your profile to quickly and efficiently re-order the meals you enjoy the most! This feature can make ordering on ENB such a quick efficient process you'll wonder why anyone would ever bother picking up a telephone again.
• Create your own pizza! A firm fast-food fan favourite! Create your own pizza is now available online! Simply order a Margherita or your favourite pre-made pizza from any of our pizza restaurants and you will be given the option to add extra toppings from a long and detailed list. Your topping preference will then be sent to the restaurant where they will cook your pizza just as you've asked! Why not give it a try?
• Splitting the bill. Another feature that grew from the feedback of our customer base. It seems that many of you get irritated when trying to decide who owes what for your takeaway. ENB now gives you the ability to tag food items as belonging to individual customers. This means that when you've finished ordering not only do you get the overall total owed, but you get individual totals as well allowing you to easily split the bill with a minimum of arguments.
• We have streamlined our selection of restaurants, removing unpopular ones and keeping those that our customers have consistently ordered from over the last two years. In place of those that have been removed will be at least 10 new restaurants to be added in the months to come. The first of these, online and available to order from right now, is the Indian Kitchen, one of Brighton's most contemporary and modern Indian restaurants, who's open plan kitchen and unconventional use of Indian flavours makes you see ordering a curry in a whole new light.
• Lastly we have made a final improvement to the technology behind our online ordering service which will ensure that your meal arrives on time and piping hot.
